Situated next to West Hollywood, Beverly Hills is a classy and old-school pocket in the craziness of LA. Rodeo Drive is the most luxurious shopping street on the west coast. With stores like Gucci, Hérmes, Burberry, Coach, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, the list goes on and on! There is no shortage of high-class shopping to do in Beverly Hills.
As the backdrop of the hit show “90210”, Beverly Hills residents have always been portrayed as living the ultimate lavish lifestyle. Funny this is - Beverly Hills started as a Spanish ranch were lima beans were grown! In 1914, a groupf of failed oil investors decided to develop the town. It grew into the luxurious city that it is known as today.
Our favorite venue in Beverly Hills is Greystone Mansion. Also known as the Doheny Mansion, this Tudor Revival estate features English gardens and traditional architecture. It is often used in television and film making production (we are in Los Angeles after all!). The Mansion boasts 55 rooms and is a whopping 46,000 square feet. It sits on 16 acres of land. So you can imagine the beauty of weddings that are hosted in this space! It also hosts the Beverly Hills Flower and Garden Festival. It is a public park when it is not being used for events. Our favorite events to design here are updated versions of the ritzy and old fashioned spirit of Beverly Hills. Think tufted velvet furniture, vintage crystal drinkware, elegant silver flatware and white china. Classic color palettes complement Greystone Mansion beautifully.
Another hotspot for bloggers, influencers, and celebrities alike is The Beverly Hills Hotel. Built in 1912, it has become one of the worlds most recognizable hotels. Known for its baby blush painted walls and tropical foliage, it is the perfect place to get that classic Instagram shot. It also features greens and apricots. Come to think of it - it is a hotel after Archive’s own heart! Blush, green and apricot are our go-to company color palette. Goes to show, that The Beverly Hills Hotel and Archie are a match made in heaven. Let’s get designing your magical event!
