A historic mining town east of San Diego, Julian is now famous for its apples! Tourists flock from all over California to go apple picking (they have over 21 varieties!) and explore the old mines in town. Julian is also the place to be for Bed & Breakfast lovers! In fact, it is the B&B capital of Southern California. There is not shortage of quaint in this town! There is also plenty of outdoor activities. From beautiful flowers blossoming in the Spring, hiking in the Summer, apple-picking in the Fall and beautiful snow in the Winter, Julian has it all. This town has a old-timey, vintage feel with a historic downtown. Planning an event in this cute little town? Let Archive help design the wedding of your dreams! Sacred Mountain at Julian is our favorite venue in town. With 360 degree views of rolling Southern California hills, this mountain-top private ranch is a secluded and beautiful spot to tie the knot. Ancient oaks are sprinkled across the property and will transport your guests to the great outdoors! Our favorite wedding to design there is a little bit rustic, a little bit modern, and a little bit country. Think leather Guilford Chairs at cocktail hour, wood Bistro Chairs at reception and cowhide accent throughout. Never heard of Archive Rentals? Let us introduce ourselves. We are an event rentals and design house with four branches across the US and Mexico: SoCal, Portland, Austin and the Riviera Maya in Mexico. As a creative group of individuals, we love to re-think the norm and dream big for our clients! We design stunning and authentic events that are true to you. We leverage our vast inventory of Mid-Century, Classic, Eclectic, Industrial, Modern and Vintage (you name it, we have it!) pieces to bring your vision to life. A few of our other favorite activities to do in Julian: channel the old days with a visit to Eagle and High Peak Mine, see wildlife up close at the California Wolf Center, hike to Cedar Creek Falls and always end the days at the wineries! Some notable events around town: an Arts & Craft show in January, a Fourth of July Parade, and an apple festival in October. We can’t get enough of this cute town, so bring us along for the ride if you are planning a wedding, retreat or event in Julian! We’d love to be a part of the fun.Read Less
