The ultimate modern meets vintage city, Palm Springs has encapsulated a Mid-Century style meets retro new hotel vibe we haven't seen anywhere else. With the Sonoran desert as it’s backdrop and Coachella valley just around the corner, this quirky little place is one of our favorites to return our event rentals to. The Ace Hotel, Colony Palms hotel, The Parker Palm Springs, and the Frederick Loewe Estate are some of our favorite party places here at Archive Rentals.
In the 1900’s, Palm Springs became a fashionable resort town. A few decades later, it became a hot spot for movie stars and celebrities alike. It was a getaway from the busy LA life and became a vacation haven for many.
Because of its inviting retreat inspired hotels, Palm Springs has become a go-to spot for both destination weddings and locals. The Ace Hotel is the most well known among the younger crowd. Within biking distance of downtown and the raddest architecture you’ve seen this side of the Mississippi. You can rent out the entire hotel for your nuptials which is killer!
Another notable hotel is the Saguaro. A sudden trendy hotspot in the dessert, Korakai is painted a rainbow of bright fluorescent colors. There’s no shortage of Instagram-able moments here! Host of the hottest pool party in the dessert, Korakai is packed to the brim with fun times. If you’re a fun loving, vibrant couple – this is the hotel for your wedding! Let Archive help design your colorful event with the best event rentals in Palm Springs!
The Colony Palms is another fan favorite. A luxury boutique hotel is quite literally a hidden oasis. Located in the heart of Palm Springs, there is no better spot to be. The Colony Palms has hosted Hollywood’s elite, mobsters, athletes, film producers, gamblers and politicians, over it’s nearly one hundred years in business. It was built and opened in 1936 by a reputed mobster. Now that’s an exciting history!
There is no shortage of things to do in the dessert. Take a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park or if you prefer to stay in town the aerial tramway is an exciting adventure with unbeatable views of the valley! The Air Museum is also rated one of the top 14 Air Museums in the world! If you’re into history, it’s the place for you. If you’re in town in April the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is a fun time! And last, but not least, the reason most flock to the dessert is simple: to relax by the pool sipping a cocktail. We don’t judge.
