7 Ways To Design Your Sweetheart Table with Archive

Your wedding day can be hectic and that’s why we’re big fans of sweetheart tables. There’s no better way to take a step back and enjoy some time, just you and your honey! Stumped on how to style your sweetheart table? We’ve gathered some of our favorite snaps to give you inspiration and design tips for styling the sweet table for your special day.

Make your sweetheart table the focal point of the reception – the couple is why everyone came after all! The easiest way to achieve this? Deck out the space in florals. We love the way Good Seed Floral adorned this sweetheart table with roses, greenery and even pineapples for Styled You! This is a surefire way to ensure your sweetheart table is not overlooked.

Don’t be afraid to play with different styles. We love the way this set-up mixed two different Mid-Century styles: our classic dark toned Harvey Dining Table and bold white Viceroy Chairs. We also love round sweetheart tables because they allow for plenty of space to style with candlesticks and florals! A sweetheart table with this view isn’t bad either…

Frame your sweetheart table with lanterns to create a vignette. This also adds a touch of ambiance! Try our Zara, Evie and Iris Lanterns.

Not interested in doing a stand alone sweetheart table? No problem! Just pick two bold chairs and seat them at your head table. Voila! A pseudo-sweetheart table without the exclusivity. Jump on the beloved bohemian trend with peacock chairs. It’s almost as if Peacock Chairs were made for sweetheart tables…they’re bold, without being too gaudy.

Create a backdrop that frames your sweetheart table by hanging a chandelier and dressing it up with florals. Our Plank Chandelier is a fan favorite! It’s equal parts industrial and rustic. Just add florals for a feminine flair!

Make it cozy! One of our go-to ways to create an intimate and comfortable sweetheart table is by adding in a Sheepskin Rug and Furry Throws. Choosing a settee instead of separate chairs instantly makes the space cozier too! Some favorite settees: Kate, Crosby, Anna, Poppy and Sybil!

When in doubt, keep it classic. These pictures are going to last forever. Keep the colors neutral and the styles simple. Our Sadie Table is a classic wood table and pairs beautifully with our Rochelle Settee. Your table won’t take away from the stars of the show: the newly married couple!
