A new year means new event design trends. At Archive, all eyes are on monochrome.

A trend that’s not too trendy. The monochrome trend is one that we can get on board with for that very reason: it’s understated. No glitter, no gold. Just bringing beautiful tones to center stage. And left stage. And right stage, too.

This year, we’re channeling the forest. Abundant greenery, plush emerald velvets and sophisticated olive glass intricately layered together to create monochromatic magic!

To get the look, use a lounge sofa as your starting point (think our Holloway Sofa – who can say no to that lush green velvet?). Pile varying shades of pillows and decor (think emeralds, dark teal, sage and pine). Then add in texture and depth with velvet, metallics and plenty of greenery.

The result is an organic-inspired, eye-catching design that rivals Emerald City. We’re not in Kansas anymore….we’re in the Pacific Northwest.
