Sometimes people forget how vast Napa Valley really is. With 400 plus wineries, Napa can feel overwhelming to some and exciting to others. We’re here to break it down for you. There’s about 6 main region of the valley. Calistoga, the town of Napa, Rutherford, St. Helena, Oakville and Yountville. Each area brings it own flavor to the party.
The town of Napa hosts the most wineries. The Hess Collection, William Hill Estate Winery, Etude Wines, Stags’ Leap Winery, and Chimey Rock Winery, just to name a few. Calistoga’s (the home of our favorite Calistoga Ranch) claim to fame is Tamber Bey, Fairwinds Estate and Winery and Sterling Vineyards. St. Helena has Beringer Vineyards, Markham Vineyards, V. Sattui Winery, Louis M. Martini Winery and Charles Krug Winery. Oakville has Miner Family Winery, Robert Mondavi Winery and Napa Cellars. Rutherford has Peju Province Winery, Beaulieu Vineyard, Grgrich Hills Estate. Yountville is home to Priest Ranch, Goosecross Cellars, Stewart Cellars, Cliff Lede Vineyards and Paraduxx Napa Valley.
