Winter… Woods… Wolves! We’re in love! We hate to play favorites….but sometimes we just can’t help it! This elegant winter wedding inspiration featured on 100 Layer Cake was created around an amazing new wedding and event venue, Shadowland Foundation. The venue is also a non profit organization dedicated to public outreach, conservation and caring for endangered wolves.
We had such a fabulous time working with the ladies of Ooh La Love Events, White Fig Designs and LMarie Photography and were so privileged to be allowed to work with the real stars of the shoot, the Shadowland wolves!
For all of these reasons its understandable why this is one of our favorite styled shoots of the year and we have been patiently waiting to share all of its wow factor. Shadowland Foundation is an 11-acre property just north of Los Angeles in Lake Hughes, CA. Not only does this vast open space provide incredible backdrops, the proceeds from wedding and event fees are donated back to the organization and are eligible for a tax deduction!
