With the Sonoran desert as it’s backdrop and Coachella valley just around the corner, this quirky little place is one of our favorites to return our event rentals to. The Ace Hotel, Colony Palms hotel, The Parker Palm Springs, and the Frederick Loewe Estate are some of our favorite party places here at Archive Rentals.
In the 1900’s, Palm Springs became a fashionable resort town. A few decades later, it became a hot spot for movie stars and celebrities alike. It was a getaway from the busy LA life and became a vacation haven for many.

The Colony Palms is another fan favorite. A luxury boutique hotel is quite literally a hidden oasis. Located in the heart of Palm Springs, there is no better spot to be. The Colony Palms has hosted Hollywood’s elite, mobsters, athletes, film producers, gamblers and politicians, over it’s nearly one hundred years in business. It was built and opened in 1936 by a reputed mobster. Now that’s an exciting history!
There is no shortage of things to do in the dessert. Take a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park or if you prefer to stay in town the aerial tramway is an exciting adventure with unbeatable views of the valley! The Air Museum is also rated one of the top 14 Air Museums in the world! If you’re into history, it’s the place for you.
