Ole Hanson Beach Club is a venue with historic roots and sweeping and panoramic ocean views. Are you a beach bum? Then this is the spot for you. Named after Ole Hanson, the founder and developer of the “Spanish Village by the Sea”. This 1928 Spanish-Revival-style white stucco building features traditional arches, elaborate hand-painted tiles, ornate stained-glass windows, and original crafted wrought iron grillwork. With a ceremonies held on the Grand Lawn and receptions hosted on the Outdoor Terraces or Main Room, this venue is our go-to recommendation for our fellow beach bums! A part of the California State Park, the San Clemente Historic Cottage is a true gem in San Clemente. It features the notable Spanish-inspired architecture and red-tile roof that is signature to San Clemente. A beautiful adobe brick patio with an ocean view is the ideal spot to host your nuptials. On occasion, whales can even be spotted making their route between Mexico and Alaska! Can you imagine a whale interrupting your ceremony – so fun! The on-site gardens are romantic and abundant. Having hosted celebrations for more than 75 years, Casino San Clemente is seaside landmark. Celebrities like Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Dorothy Lamour and Cesar Romero have enjoyed the big band sounds on their stage. Built in 1937, this venue was modeled after the Casino dance hall on Catalina Island. The space includes four different spots to host your celebration. Intimate gatherings are often hosted on the ocean view Patio of the Stars. The Spanish-flavored West Wing is also another spot to host your party. Or if you have a large gathering, the Grand Ballroom is for you. The rejuvenated Rock Garden is a wedding spot favorite. They even have an on-site artisan cafe named Ellie’s Table.
