We were lucky enough to be a part of one of Darling Magazine’s “long table dinners” hosted along with Mary Kay. The evening event took place at Hedley and Bennet in Los Angeles, and was filled to the brim with lovely ladies deep in discussion with questions posed by Darling’s founder, Sarah. The topics of beauty, character, support and women all were discussed while guests sipped on Winc wine and dined on KTCHN LA‘s scrumptious bites. Check out the feature on Darling HERE for all the wonderful and inspiring details! See a few of the gorgeous photos captured by Marissa Boswell below:
Our Solana Tables and Rose Gold Chairs accentuated the soft and feminine design of the evening. Cut Crystal Wine Goblets, Sophia Dinner Plates and Vintage Silver Flatware dressed up the tablescape, alongside organic and billowing florals by Lovestruck Blooms.
A few of the questions posted at the dinner:
What formed your definition of beauty? Was it your family, the media, magazines, or movies? How do you think culture is changing regarding what is “beautiful?”
What are the internal character traits that you think make women most “beautiful?” Which one are you looking to cultivate more in your life?
What can we do as women to support other women who have experienced pain and suffering in their lives, such as cancer and domestic violence?
We love what this dinner was about! And from now through Dec. 31st, the Mary Kay team will donate $1 from each sale of the Mary Kay Limited-Edition Lash Love® Mascara to The Mary Kay Foundation, which supports women’s shelters and survivors of abuse.
